FAQ
How do you photograph portraits?
I love being with you every step of the way so you can be at your best during your photo experience. We'll have a consultation before your session, so we can collaborate and discuss your vision and mine. Once the location, date & time is confirmed & your session is booked, I'll send you a guide to help you prepare: what to bring, what to wear...so when it's time for your session, you'll be ready and I'll be able to focus on bringing out the best in your while capturing your excitement, your emotions, your qualities and all the real moments that make you shine! I scout locations in advance to familiarize myself with the area, make sure it is accessible & to find best compositions. My style combines editorial, portrait, lifestyle, candid photography. I believe the best moments are the real ones, and I love capturing beautiful memories that will live on in every photograph.
What Equipment Do you use?
I always have two cameras prepared for every photo session: Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera & Canon 6D Markii DSLR camera. I also have a variety of lenses: Canon RF 50mm 1.8, Canon RF 24-105mm F4L, Canon EF 70-300mm 4-5.6 L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens, and SIGMA 24-70mm F2.8 DG Art Lens. I like to have one camera set up with my telephoto zoom lens, and the other camera set up with a wider lens. I prefer working with my cameras in hand, so I can move around and find the best compositions, but I always have my Promaster Professional Specialist Tripod ready. I love capturing environmental portraits by shooting outdoors using natural light, but I have additional equipment on hand: Canon 470EX-AI Speedlite flash, light panel, and a reflector.
Where are you based and do you travel?
You can usually find me serving my clients locally in Henderson Nevada, and Las Vegas. Yes, If you would like me to photograph your destination experience outside of where I am based, I love to travel. Just know, it will require additional travel fees, depending on where your destination is and the type of services you require. Feel free to message me for more information by using the contact form.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with basic edits (cropping, light & color corrections) of your photos within 2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your experience). I will create a gallery for you where you can download your photos, share them, choose your favorites, order prints right from the professional shop connected to your gallery.
Do you offer Add Ons?
Yes! If you are interested in adding services such as: rush orders, content creation, more time, additional locations, downloads, behind the scenes video clips, additional people, pets, wardrobe, props, make up artist, more detailed touch ups & editing...it can be arranged for additional fees.
Can I order my portraits on canvas or order more downloads?
Yes! Attached to your gallery, you will find a professional print shop where you can order your portraits on canvas, metal prints, framed prints, cards & more! Want to create a custom product or package? No problem! Message me using the Contact form for more information.
